In the summer of 2010, I wrote a series of illustrated letters while traveling and photographing in Poland, Germany and Ukraine. I sent the letters in the form of emails to a handful of friends and colleagues. In 2013, I edited these email letters into six works, which explore the relationships between the landscape of trauma, the museum, and problems in contemporary art. The collected works were printed in a single book, Camps and Abstraction. The first and last letters are below. The rest of the books is available on request.
